The Friends of Commonswood School is the name of the PTA of the community based Primary School based in Welwyn Garden City.

'The Friends' role within the school is to foster good relationships between the school and home, to raise funds for the 'extras' which make the childrens learning more enjoyable and rewarding and to organise safe, social functions for the enjoyment of all those associated with the school and community.

Each parent of a child in the school is automatically a member of the PTA and there is a small committee which organise and run events.
